To care for teak: Teak’s natural characteristics make it very durable and especially suitable for outdoor use, but when exposed to the elements—notably sun, heat, and moisture—teak furniture will experience natural changes in color and finish.
Never allow water to stand on your pieces and minimize exposure to rain and
sun.
We recommend that you protect your purchase with custom-fit covers when not in use. Make sure furniture is dry before covers are applied. Use beverage coasters and placemats to protect tabletops and other flat surfaces from stains. Regularly clean your outdoor pieces with a gentle, soft bristle (non-steel) brush and warm water mixed with mild soap. Lightly scrub the teak surface as well as the underside, if accessible. Rinse the teak surface with clean water and wipe down completely any excess water. Allow the furniture to air dry completely before using or covering.
Regularly dust your indoor pieces with a soft cloth. Consult with your local furniture restorer to discuss cleaning and restoration of your teak pieces.
